This past weekend, the Diamond State Martial Arts Judo Team proudly represented Fayetteville, Arkansas on the tournament stage, facing serious competition and rising above every challenge. With gold medals earned and powerful lessons learned, this was a weekend to remember for our dedicated team.

Cole stepped onto the mat with incredible focus and confidence. His tactical precision and sharp technique led him to dominate his division and secure a well-earned gold medal. Cole continues to be a strong example of the talent being developed right here in Fayetteville’s Judo community.

Elisabeth fought with unmatched intensity and heart. Every match showed her growth and determination, and her hard work paid off with a gold medal performance. Her spirit and dedication to her training at Diamond State Martial Arts truly stood out.

Davian showed composure beyond his years. His ability to stay calm under pressure and execute clean throws and groundwork helped him secure another gold for the Fayetteville-based Judo team. Davian’s development has been incredible to witness, and this performance is just the beginning.

Sarah had perhaps the toughest challenge of the weekend. A last-minute division shift placed her into the black belt category—no small task. But Sarah rose to the occasion, fighting fearlessly against more experienced opponents. She held her own and earned a third-place medal, showing true courage and the warrior spirit we value at Diamond State Martial Arts in Fayetteville.
As for myself, I was honored to compete alongside my students. I took to the mat with the same mindset we instill in every class—resilience, discipline, and adaptability. I’m proud to have earned a gold medal, but even more proud of the grit and sportsmanship our team displayed.
This tournament wasn’t just about medals—it was about proving that the Diamond State Judo Team from Fayetteville, Arkansas, can stand strong in the face of adversity. Whether you're a parent looking for martial arts for your child, or an adult interested in training, this is what we're about: growth, strength, and community.
