What Is No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?
No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is grappling without the traditional Gi uniform. Without jacket and trouser grips, students use positioning, movement and body control to practice techniques with a partner. At Diamond State Martial Arts in Fayetteville, No-Gi is part of our adult BJJ program. Explore positions, escapes, takedowns and submissions through instruction and supervised practice. Build a Strong Foundation in Our Fundamentals Classes
Adult No-Gi Fundamentals meets Monday and Friday at 6 pm. Monday’s 6 am No-Gi class is open to all ranks, and Advanced No-Gi meets Thursday at 6:15 pm. Classes last one hour. Contact us to confirm the right session for your experience and reserve one free trial. Bring water and comfortable athletic clothing without zippers or sharp hardware; remove jewelry and ask about suitable No-Gi training clothes.
