Northwest Arkansas has many places to exercise, but fewer places where an entire family can learn a lasting skill together.
Diamond State Martial Arts brings Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi grappling, and Judo together at one academy in Fayetteville. We welcome first-time students as well as experienced grapplers from communities throughout the region.
Our members train for different reasons. Some want better fitness, some want practical self-defense, some are looking for a confidence-building activity for their children, and others want technical coaching for competition.
The common thread is a supportive room where people can work hard and improve without needing to prove themselves on day one.
One Academy, Several Ways to Train
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches control, escapes, and submissions, with an emphasis on ground grappling.
No-Gi removes the traditional uniform and changes the pace and grips. Judo develops balance, movement, throws, and control from standing.
Training these disciplines under one roof gives students a broader understanding of grappling than a single-format program can offer.
Built for Long-Term Progress
New students need a clear starting point. Experienced students need details, resistance, and room to grow. Our coaching is structured to serve both.
Kids work on focus, coordination, respectful behavior, and safe technique. Adults can pursue fitness, recreation, self-defense, or competition at a pace that fits their experience.
