Daniel Lee Williams

Biography

Northwest Arkansas native Daniel Williams aims to coach you to become your best self.

From competing regionally to internationally, Daniel Williams does it all. In true Daniel fashion, he plowed into the martial arts world without hesitation. In 2010, he started training MMA with an emphasis on striking. After competing in a local grappling tournament, he quickly expanded his training to include Judo, BJJ, and Submission Wrestling. Coach Daniel uses his years of martial arts experience to help prepare Diamond State Martial Arts' competition teams for tournaments and fights across the country. 

Daniel holds a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt (IBJJF) as well as the rank of Shodan (Black Belt) in Judo. 

Notable achievements:

  • 2015 AGF National Championships: 2nd place

  • 2018 NAGA World Grappling Championships: 1st place

  • 2018 NAGA World Grappling Championships: 1st place

  • 2019 World Combat Wrestling World Championship (Bucharest, Romania): 3rd place

  • 2019 Member of team USA Combat Wrestling

  • Undefeated MMA Fighter 2-0

  • 2020 IBJJF Pan American Championship: 1st place

  • 2020 IBJJF National champ (Gi and No GI) black belt: 1st

  • 2021 USJA Oklahoma State Judo championship: 1st
